Juergen Teller is internationally renowned for his candid celebrity portraits, provocative fashion editorials and iconic campaigns for designers such as Saint Laurent, Marc Jacobs, Vivienne Westwood and Loewe. Since his rise to fame as a photographer in London in the early 1990s, Teller has also produced important series of personal works in which he questions himself, his family, his roots and his identity. The i need to live exhibition is, to date, the most important dedicated to his work. Bringing together personal and commissioned works, instantly recognizable images and new photographic series, complemented by videos and installations, this extraordinary show invites visitors to discover the direct, realistic style through which Teller confronts the significant events of his life and celebrates the value of human existence. Adapted to the impressive space of the Grand Palais Éphémère by the award-winning 6a architects, already responsible for the construction of Teller's London studio, the spectacular scenography of i need to live offers a unique visual experience, during which visitors can discover the full diversity of the work of this extraordinary artist.
