MBAL presents an exhibition by photographer Jonathan LLense (1984), known for transforming everyday objects into humorous, precarious sculptures captured through his lens. Inspired by Duchamp, LLense blends irony and lightness to question the ordinary and challenge perception.
For this new commission in Le Locle, he dives into local history and MBAL’s bust collection to create an offbeat portrait of the town. Water, a key element of the region, serves as a guiding thread in this bold scenography featuring 28 staged fountains—inviting visitors to see beyond appearances.
