Camera Obscura presents a solo exhibition by Jean-François Spricigo. His work is centered on nature, born of meandering journeys in wildly diverse locations. Winning artist of the « Mondes Nouveaux » (New Worlds) artistic commission program, created by the French Ministry of Culture, Jean-François Spricigo travelled to Mayotte, Reunion Island and French Guiana (the photography book arising from these travels, “nous l'horizon resterons seul”, published by Le bec en l'air, won the Prix Nadar in 2023). This was followed by artist residencies in Corsica, the Pyrenees and Normandy (at the invitation of the Conservatoire du Littoral), as well as in Canada.
