Contemporaries of Joseph Beuys, whose 100th birthday in 2021 is now the focus of special celebrations, can fervently testify to the artist’s great ability to affect the world on the strength of personality. This applies especially to those who knew him well.
In the exhibition ‘In Dialogue with Joseph Beuys’ presented by the Van der Grinten Galerie from January through March 2021, gives two of these contemporary companions a voice, in the language of their photographic images: Michael Ruetz and Peter Sevriens.
