New York 1993: From the window of a friend's loft in the Wall Street district, Merry Alpern found herself looking onto the tiny bathroom of an illegal strip club in the opposite building, in which semi-naked dancers and besuited businessmen exchanged dollar bills, drugs and more. Provoking scandal at the time, the series 'Dirty Windows' is a gritty and cinematographic snapshot of New York's underbelly in the early 90s. The full series of vintage prints will be presented for the first time in Paris.
