The exhibition Témoigner de l'histoire en marche : Anne de Henning (Bearing witness to history in the making: Anne de Henning) documents the history of the creation of Bangladesh, from the conflict that broke out in March 1971 to its independence a year later on April 7, 1972. Exhibited for the first time in 2021 in Dhaka to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh's independence, Anne de Henning's photographs, never before shown to the public, are for the first time on view in Paris.
Anne de Henning is one of the pioneers of war photojournalism, one of the only women to risk her life to document the volatile situation in Asia in the 1970s.
