The Bibliothèque nationale de France is devoting an exhibition to the collection of photographs donated to it by collector Jérôme Prochiantz in 2023. Comprising 368 prints, this exceptional and eclectic collection has enabled works by Robert Mapplethorpe, Masahisa Fukase and Nan Goldin to be added to the holdings of the Prints and Photography Department. Some sixty photographs, on display in the Donors' Gallery, reflect the abundance of works that the collector designed to hang in his Paris flat.
