To commemorate 40 years since the death of René Goscinny, the mahJ, in partnership with the Institut René Goscinny, is presenting the first retrospective dedicated to the co-creator of Asterix and Little Nicholas. The exhibition is a compilation of over 200 works, including original plates and storyboards and a large collection of unseen documents from Goscinny's personal archives. It shines a light on the creative genius of a man who gave French culture one of its finest cultural revolutions and who catapulted the comic strip from the status of children's publication to ‘ninth art'.
