By Toutatis, the autumn exhibition!
Passionate about the 7th art since childhood, Goscinny's comic strips were inspired by the great masterpieces of cinema, from Greek epics and westerns to musicals. He dreamt of Walt Disney;
he created the Idéfix animation studios and directed The 12 Tasks of Asterix and La Ballade des Daltons. This playful and interactive exhibition presents an unusual facet of his talent through original artworks, film clips and monumental decors. Forty years after the death of their creator, Goscinny's characters have become cinema characters in their own right. A great success for Walt Goscinny!
An exhibition by La Cinémathèque Française and La Cité Internationale de la Bande Dessinée et de l'Image (Angoulême), in partnership with René Goscinny Institute.
