As one calls for action, Gérard Paris-Clavel calls things into question and ask the right ones. He is never alone but always "with" (avec). Words and images are his tools. Fighting is arguing, words and action: informing is giving form; thinking is refusing to yield and bend; exhibiting could mean exploding, and pushing the established limits of creation seen as its own ideal.
Those are questions raised by the exhibition which brings a closer look on the independent creative work conducted by Gérard Paris-Clavel since 1990, as well as his poetical and political commitment within the Ne pas plier association, around the question of expression and forms of commitment.
